That Time the U.S. Navy Had a Close Encounter With a UFO (More good info)

The New York Times on Saturday reported on a mysterious interaction between the U.S. Navy and what could only be called UFOs. The sighting, which took place in 2004, involved a U.S. Navy Aegis cruiser, seven Hornet and Super Hornet strike fighter jets, and a pair of unknown objects. The sighting, which was rumored but unsubstantiated for a decade remains unexplained to this day.

*snip*

According to the Times:

For two weeks, the operator said, the Princeton had been tracking mysterious aircraft. The objects appeared suddenly at 80,000 feet, and then hurtled toward the sea, eventually stopping at 20,000 feet and hovering. Then they either dropped out of radar range or shot straight back up.

[From an excerpt from Carrier Air Wing 11’s event summary for November 14, 2004 at source:]

There are several interesting details about the sighting here. For one, there were clearly two unidentified objects. The first was a large underwater object that was “much larger than a submarine.” For reference, the U.S. Virginia-class nuclear attack submarines are 377 feet long. The object also had some passing resemblance to a “downed airliner.” This was technically a USO, or unidentified swimming object. Although much rarer than UFOs, such craft have been sighted over the years.

And if, as many high level experts insist, the critters are actually--as Dr Jacques Vallee insists--evil spiritual entities that originate not from distant galaxies but from an evil DIMENSION? Guy Malone has 400 cases where he has documented that: Declaring that an abduction must stop immediately on the authority of Christ's Blood and Name resulted in an immediate stop.

Vallee, along with Hyman, were some of the few true scientists that investigated this phenomena, and were eventually led to believe they were not extraterrestrial in origin. Many believe they are more likely to be related to "fallen angels" as described in the Bible, often due to their reactions by those who supposedly had contact in person with them. One of the supposed quotes of the researchers was "it sure is funny how these things claiming to be an alien came from all the way across the galaxy just to tell us that Jesus doesn't exist." Wouldn't surprise me if the Anti-Christ's plan will be to pose as an alien, either. More research would be good, but the field is full of frauds and liars who make that difficult. How convenient.

Some people do not watch it because they know it is fake and non-entertaining.

Some watch it because even though they know it is fake, they find it oddly entertaining.

Some watch it because they believe it to be real. Entertainment is only of secondary importance to them.

BEST campaign EVER....

The two pols stood on the podium, shook hands and the R stood forward, nodded to the D and said..

“Harry & I have made a pledge we will be running a clean, issues oriented, non personal dampaign.

As a gesture of ‘friendship’, -I the incumbent - will break tradition and allow Harry to speak first”.

Harry:
“Yes, Jim is correct. We have signed a pledge to keep the nastiness out of this campaign.
Good thing as now it will not be pointed out that Jim is a closet homosexual, drunk and regularly beats his wife and children.
If I were allow to say it, I would have to report his arrest for being suspected of absconding funds from the company he is treasurer of, he continually ‘cornered’ the female office help (I guess to keep people from knowing he was gay).

Since we can’t/won’t bring any of that up, I suspect we will have a great race.”

Think about it a bit... For two weeks this was supposedly happening just offthe coast of San Diego but they didn't attempt to bring in major DOD assets to investigate.

I think it is safe to say the the USS Nimitz is a major DOD asset. It carries our most advanced seaborne aircraft and has nuclear weapons.

Who is Quix?

Are you serious, you don't remember Quix?

Quix was a local legend in the same vein that Michael Rivero was. Rather than believe that UFOs were aliens, he believed they were actually spiritual demons......

In terms of where they come from, Dr Jacques Vallee, the French scientist depicted in Close Encounters studied them for 10 years and determined that they are evil spiritual critters coming from a spiritual dimension.

He and I got into it once on another forum and he claimed intellectual superiority since he had a PHD in clinical psychology or some such field and was a university professor without naming the university he was employed with.

Ahhh... a freeper. Okay, that's why he didn't show up on google.

Well, Jocko did call her housemate "Q", so maybe Q is Quix. And no, I don't recall Quix. I'm not usually attracted to UFO threads. Not sure how I ended up on this one.

I'll say this in response. One time I got into it with a liberal PHD professor from Georgetown. It was weird how stupid he was. My poor old college dropout ass took him to school on economics which I'm really no expert on. Those people sometimes lack common sense and real world experience, having been locked up in academia all their lives.

I think nowadays, very few brilliant minds achieve PHD status.
