OKMULGEE, Okla. -- An Okmulgee man is behind bars after police say he beat his girlfriend's five-year-old because the little boy opened a Christmas present early.
The child's mother says her boyfriend was watching her children while she was Christmas shopping Saturday. She came home to something she never thought she would see.
She saw bruises to her five-year-old son's back and arms, whelps on his forehead, and an apparent hand print on his cheek.
In a Facebook post, the mother wrote, "Words cannot explain seeing your baby like this and having no clue what happened. I ran to him like any mother would do crying, hugging him, begging what happened. "Wesley hurt me bad mama," is all he kept saying.”

Sadly, a new boyfriend is often hostile to a girlfriends children from another man. Sad fact, something to think about, in our hook up culture.
The biggest threat to a child's life isn't a firearm, it's a "mother's boyfriend".

In no way does this excuse his assault on the child but you know this guy was probably subjected to the same. I’m not one of those nuts who says spanking a kid is child abuse, but parents don’t seem to have any common sense these days when it comes to being parents.
I read stories like this every day. Its always “the boyfriend” brought into the nest by the baby-momma.
Spanking a kid, more so for what he did and at this age would be about 4 or 5 swats on the butt, not beating the hell out of him like you would someone who said shit to you at the local bar.
Yes that boy was old enough to know better and deserved a spanking, but he also deserved from his real dad or mom who would do it in a loving way and not nearly kill him.
Unfortunately the animal side of humanity appears too often in this age where many have renounced Christ.

Out of all family living arrangements, a child is most in danger in the home of a single mother.
More danger than in a single father HH, more danger than in an intact, two biological parents HH, more danger than with a grandparent HH.
Mommy needs her between-her-legs needs fulfilled over the child needs.

I’m impressed with the mother. Very few women in her position would report this sort of abuse, even against their own children.
No one needs a “boyfriend” this bad. These slut mothers should be jailed as accessories to the crimes their children suffer at the hands of the sadistic thugs they shack up with.

Some of them are learning that if you don’t tell the police you will get arrested too. Who wants to bet that is the motive?
Who wants to bet that by this same time next month she will have a new boyfriend. Don’t mean she’ll be more careful in the dick she chooses just means she will sing like a bird when he hurts the kid.
My first thought was that if there were any Men in her family, none of this, including getting herself knocked up, would have happened.
