The composition is not nearly as great as Earth so why try to live there? MEGA - Make Earth Great Again.

True - Mars lived across town, next to the old mill.

I think Mars is what is left of the collision between a planet and a large rock where the asteroid belt currently is.

Those Martians were always over borrowing stuff.
A cup of sugar.
A screwdriver.
Some asteroids.

I agree. There is about 10% good points and the rest unsubstantiated speculation. There is a great deal of speculation on planet orbits being influenced by the major planets. I have a hard time seeing planet influence overpowering the gravity of the sun.

That's a large fissure.
If no tectonic shifting, then one hell of an impact.
Would be interesting to compare the composition of a few random asteroids many degrees apart along their plane of orbit.

Mars did not form in the asteroid belt. Mars formed the asteroid belt. Ancient Martians saw the fifth planet as a threat. After grokking the threat, they destroyed the planet. The asteroid belt is what remains.

Dr. Velikovsky - have not heard hat name in many years. His books, right or wrong, were mind opening. I especially liked ‘Ages in Chaos.’ I still have most of his books in my collection.
