Mueller makes reckless move with seizure of Trump transition emails

J. Edgar Hoover used to say that “justice is just incidental to law and order.” It was a telling quote from someone who routinely abused his power in seeking what he viewed as enemies of law and order. Hoover is now a pariah at the FBI and the Justice Department, but his attitude toward the use of federal power lingers like a dormant virus. Too often investigators interpret uncertain legal questions as a license for action.

That seems to be the case with a new and troubling controversy over a massive seizure of emails by special counsel Robert Mueller from the General Services Administration (GSA). Mueller did an end run around Trump transition officials and counsel by seizing tens of thousands of emails from the GSA despite claims of privilege. The move was legally unprecedented and strategically reckless. In a gratuitous muscle play, Mueller may have added a potential complication to the use of evidence that could contaminate much of his investigation in any later trial.

Is “Judge” Napolitano not conversant with the “fruit of the poisoned tree” doctrine?

Yeah and the inability to see what the title will be in final preview before post doesn’t help.

If you cut-and-paste the ACTUAL title, you won’t have to blame other circumstances for your error.

MIA, LOL. Last night I saw where one of the main Twitter deep state disinformation accounts some are following closely is no longer saying Mueller is actually going after Hillary, due to the amount of pushback from his drone followers. Now he’s saying Mueller will resign after a job well done exonerating Trump, which is still likely BS designed to support Mueller, of course, but a major change in direction.

I doubt that, but I did see where Big League Politics quit carrying any more articles by an author that had put a theory forward that was supporting Mueller a few months ago. Coincidence, possibly, but I can understand why there would be little tolerance for what appears to be an outrageous story with no evidence to support it.

Although I think we can all agree it would have been foolish to bite down hard on Jeff before the AL election.

Which is OVER

Sessions refusing to support Moore and going so far to vote for someone else proved to me that Sessions is not the man I once thought he was. And his statement to the press last week that “there may be innocent explanations” for all the crooked dealings at the FBI coming to light indicates to me he is a true adversary of Trump at this point.

“Joe Six-pack “gets” that selling 20% of our Uranium to Russia for $145 million is a million times worse than ANYTHING Trump has even been accused of.”

I see no issue with that, per se. We have more than enough Uranium. More than enough.

It was the PROCESS there that was corrupt and illegal.

Why would Mueller care what he does? He’s like the King of America that can just do anything he wants.

It appears that there is no “there” there with Muller’s investigation. So he is now openly trying to provoke Trump into firing him so that Eric Holder & Co. can gin-up the street protests.

If Trump were to fire Mueller, I wouldn't put it past Paul Ryan to open impeachment proceedings.

The Swamp must be defended.

This will most likely get ruled on very soon as The newly appointed judge set to sentence Mike Flynn has asked the OSC to provide documents ...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. District Court judge ordered Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Tuesday to turn over any potential evidence that could be material for when he sentences President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn.

U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan will not take kindly to the shenanagans...He has a history of Smacking around the Government. This could get good real soon.

I suspect that Mueller is not as concerned with legal niceties as he is with generating a political outcome in congress.

Mueller’s goal (colluding with dems and the msm), is impeachment, not prosecution. So he doesn’t care if any evidence gets thrown out. He is therefore free to break all the rules. It’s not like Sessions or Rosenstein will fire him.

He’s both dirty and fireproof. And needs a serious beatdown.

They were blinded by their Trump hatred. No need for DJT to fire Mueller. Mueller and Andrew Weissmann and their swampers are firing themselves. Let’s hope and pray this happens. MAGA!
