Meh. Went to the urgent care clinic to get a Z-Pak and some cough medicine yesterday. Thought I'd gotten hoarse from The Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert, what with the whooping and breathing in a dry ice fog for over three hours, but it turned out that I caught someone else's cooties. Swollen throat, fluid in the ears, that sort of thing. Can't even talk right now. The concert was amazing, though. We walked out of the BJCC and it was like leaving another planet. And, I finally had to fess up to myself and do what the docs and family have been telling me to do: I got handicapped placards for the cars. I really do feel bummed about that.
