We start watching Christmas movies the night of Thanksgiving and continue every night until January the 2nd.
I have at least 30 Hallmark Christmas movies and the rest are all classics from the 40’s through the 70’s.
Also the variety Christmas shows that they showed in the 60’s like Dean Martin’s Christmas Special, the Andy Williams Christmas Shows, Danny Kaye, Doris Day and my favorite of all the Perry Como Christmas Special.
White Christmas is always watched on Christmas Eve and It’s A Wonderful Life on Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas!
I know that ‘White Christmas’ was made in color; but I was responding to ‘Miracle on 34th Street’, which was originally B&W, but later colorized.
Merry Christmas, Ammo!
My husband and I usually watch several versions of ‘A Christmas Carol’. His favorite is the George C. Scott version; I like the Patrick Stewart one, probably for the production values and period ambience, and not because Stewart is necessarily the best Scrooge.
