There is strong circumstantial evidence that an insidious plot unprecedented in American history was hatched within the FBI and the Obama Justice Department to help elect Hillary Clinton and defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
And when this apparent effort to improperly influence the election did not succeed, the suspected conspirators appear to have employed a fraudulent investigation of President Trump in an attempt to undo the election results and remove him as president.
Such a Machiavellian scheme would move well beyond what is known as the “deep state,” a popular reference to government employees who organize in secret to impose their own political views on government policy in defiance of democratically elected leadership.
However, this apparent plot to keep Trump from becoming president and to weaken and potentially pave the way for his impeachment with a prolonged politically motivated investigation – if proven – would constitute something far more nefarious and dangerous.
Such a plot would show that partisans within the FBI and the Justice Department, driven by personal animus and a sense of political righteousness, surreptitiously conspired to subvert electoral democracy itself in our country.

You said what I was thinking. Or they could get these 2 agents arrested and booked about the same time. Bring both off separately to question them. Tell one that the other is naming names and flipping on him/her. Do the same with the other one. Offer a deal of life in prison as opposed to death for treason for the one that names people, times and documentation first. Who was in on this?? Name GOPe as well as Dims. The, ahem, president at that time? Bill Clinton’s role with Loretta on the tarmac....making sure Hillary would not get charged with anything. Then make all this crap public. Fire probably 9/10ths of congress and start over with term limits.

What will we do with that gift?
Will the beacon continue to shine?
Only if we understand the principles and ideas that the Founders understood and protect them from those who would change "the People's" government in a way that turns upside down the formula they discovered for liberty.
Their formula for liberty was:
- life, rights, liberty, and law go from Creator to individuals, and individuals to government, only We, the People able to change it in accordance with our Constitution.
The formula for tyranny and oppression is simple:
- grants of rights by government (of whatever combination of imperfect people) to individual, with no public recognition of Creator or Creator's Law.
One idea is authentic, founded on the enduring principles and truth underlying our Declaration and Constitution, and produces liberty and plenty.
The other idea is founded on whatever the power structure of the moment says it is: it is counterfeit and produces misery and want.

"We, the People" must--in order to support whatever efforts the current Administration has accomplished and will continue to attempt to accomplish--begin a massive effort to educate the minds of youth regarding the Founders ideas and principles of liberty.
If they continue to be propagandized by the cultish Progressive teachers, professors, and entrenched media that "redistribution" of the earnings of their hardworking parents by elitist politicians in Washington-- who seek little but votes--is a sure and certain path to an America like the Venezuelan example playing itself out right now.
By the way, why don't Americans who understand the nature of liberty and its relationship to a "free press" become involved in education programs like those of Hillsdale College and other sources which explain the ideas of liberty vs those of tyranny underlying our Constitution?

I think you are right - this kind of credible case made by an obvious “non-crackpot” gives reason for hope that the worm is finally turning.
Still, as a long time Fox contributor Jarret can be labeled as a conservative - what is needed is a few more liberals - like Dershiwitz - calling out their fellow leftists.
Only when the criticism becomes truly non-partisan will the swamp draining begin in earnest - because the American people want nothing to do with a political witch hunt from either side.
I see politicians in both parties as being either evil, weak, foolish, or non of the above. When the facts emerge regarding the corruption and treason emanating from the political Left for decades, I have to believe there will be a lot of politicians who realize they have been fooled by the evil left, but are not evil, and not so weak as to be blackmailed or bribed.
Only when that happens can the worm turn and the swamp be drained - it has to be non partisan. A bunch of Democrats have to wake up and realize that they are on the wrong side of history.
Never let it be said that we don’t live in interesting times.
