I find your comment weirdly inappropriate.
The probably isn't with this article or the person who wrote it.
The problem is with the DOJ and the AG. They are the ones who aren't doing their job.
Are you saying that Congress with their investigations, is "ducking around", as if they have the power to indict?
Charge them with a crime. Then fire them. Easy. Just need someone to Prosecute. Mueller? Bueller? Sessions?
No, but I wonder if the AG (or the inspector general of the Justice Department) are waiting for the committees to complete their work, otherwise, based on what is publicly known, they should move ahead.
Two additional thoughts:
1. Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills were allowed to destroy certain personal communications devices. That decision was made by the FBI during the Obama Administration. That decision needs to be explored.
2. All communications to and from the Obama White House on election day 2016 and though the end of Obama’s term should be scrutinized for criminal activity designed to hamstring the incoming administration.
The Congress won't do anything this because most of them are either in on it themselves or they just agree with it but don't want to be involved or there is nothing they can do about it without the wrath of the establishment Uniparty coming down on them.
Every institution in the country is now on the side of this legal mob. Universities, unions, corporations, entertainment, news media, Hollywood and now even the NFL, have all moved to the Left end of the political and cultural spectrum to socialism or communism.
When there reaches a point in a country's history where the conventional and institutional methods of enforcing laws are breached and compromised to the point of being useless, then revolutions happen. Revolt from the citizenry.
I think we're fast approaching one of those points in our history. The rule of law is no longer enforced. Public witch hunts of political opponents is allowed to happen right out in the open for everyone to see with no accountability or consequences.
I'm not advocating violence or armed insurrection here. I am too old for taking up arms myself. But these are the kinds of things that happen in history when a country's leadership is not playing by the rules. People rise up and correct things.
We're probably beyond salvation when it comes to putting the toothpaste back in the tube. These people are playing for keeps. We need to do the same.
Spot on. Well stated.
One question that needs to be asked: Who told Comey to accept the watered down rdvisikns? Strzok was 2 levels below Comey, and in his chain of comand. Coey’s original language pretty much said she comitted felonies. The edits exhonerated her. Comey showed intent to nail her.
Someone ABOVE Comey told him to go with the edits.
Lynch?
Then, as Trump's Cabinet is enjoying Mar a Lago sun and golf, let the indictment of Obama and the Hildebeast begin.
Nice way to introduce the New Year, don't you think?
Or will Trump wait till we get closer to the 2018 elections.
On FR, I'm reminded of that famous cartoon caption: "Patience my *ss, I'm gonna kill something"
So....After that thumb in the eye to the rule of law, why would I ever think anything will be done about this?
My feelings exactly.
An offer he couldn’t refuse? Maybe?
Ditto exactly what you said.
9/11 Truther conspiracy theories may have been deemed off limits by the owner of this site. If that's the case, there are other sites on which to discuss such outlandish topics.
However, it is not the case that adopting such a policy is "intellectually dishonest" any more than rejecting the postings of those who don't think that the USA put a man on the moon.
Personally, I'm glad that the FR community isn't deluged with such silliness. In any event, since this site is privately owned, Jim Robinson is at liberty to set such policies as he sees fit, and bellyaching because Jim chooses not to allow FR to become a platform for propagating crackpot 9/11 theories is disingenuous at best.
You don't think a jet hit the Pentagon? Then where exactly did Barbara Olsen—wife of Solicitor General Theodore Olsen—meet her demise? After all, she was a passenger on American Airlines flight 77—the one that hit the Pentagon.
"Intellectual dishonesty", my ass...
For later.
You throw around lots of adjectives. You discuss no facts.
How should I know what happened to Barbara Olson? That’s an idiotic question.
I do know there was no plane or any part of a plane inside or outside of the Pentagon.
You show me a photograph in which a plane or some part of a plane is visible on the lawn or in the building.
The totality of the evidence—including dozens and dozens of eyewitness accounts—is convincing to any objective person.
So peddle your crackpot theories elsewhere. I suppose the US never put a man on the moon either?
My question wasn't idiotic, but your challenge certainly was...
You always seem reasonable.
Have you ever watched the Pentagon video from some guard shack there that day?
Blast expert Allyn E. Kilsheimer was the first structural engineer to arrive at the Pentagon after the crash and helped coordinate the emergency response. "It was absolutely a plane, and I'll tell you why," says Kilsheimer, CEO of KCE Structural Engineers PC, Washington, D.C. "I saw the marks of the plane wing on the face of the building. I picked up parts of the plane with the airline markings on them. I held in my hand the tail section of the plane, and I found the black box." Kilsheimer's eyewitness account is backed up by photos of plane wreckage inside and outside the building. Kilsheimer adds: "I held parts of uniforms from crew members in my hands, including body parts. Okay?"
