A Morgan City man is suing the New Orleans Saints for a refund on his season tickets because some players have disrespected the national anthem before games this season.
Lee Dragna filed a lawsuit Monday in 24th Judicial District Court in Gretna seeking a refund for the tickets as well as attorneys fees, claiming the protest by some players against police brutality and racial injustice has prevented him and his family from enjoying the games.
Dragna said he hasnt attended a game since the first home game of the 2017 season against the New England Patriots, on Sept. 17, when he said some of the players did not come out for the singing of the national anthem.
When they did come out, the suit says, They passed directly in front of where the petitioner and his guests were seated. Many of the fans in that area booed and cursed at the Saints players.(snip)
Dragna, a businessman in Morgan City, said Tuesday that the rowdy, angry reaction of the people around his seats has made the tickets unusable by him and his family, as well as customers he would otherwise give the tickets to.
He said the behavior of some fans upset by the protests cursing, spilling beer is borderline dangerous, though he said he thinks the responsibility for that behavior ultimately rests not with the fans but with owner Tom Benson.
The Saints created that behavior by condoning it, he said.
Its my thought pattern that (players) should not be allowed (to protest), he said. If you sell tickets to a gaming event for entertainment, you should not be allowed to turn it political.

This case ought to be tossed as frivolous. This guy should have to pay the Saints’ attorneys fees.

(What you did . . . I sees it)
If you had read the article you would have been able to make an informed post.
Read the article.
“The NFL sold a product in a contract...then change the product without changing the contract or the price.”
I would take this a step further. The players are bound by their contracts to their team and the league and when they decided to take a knee, violated their contract. As a ticket holder, it is my assumption that players who have contracts abide by the team’s rules and league rules. Since players egregiously the rules and the team did nothing about it, the team and league violated its contract with the ticket holders.
“Since players egregiously broke the rules...”
Middle of the day. I need a Snickers bar.
I wonder if, when the judge enters the court and the plaintiff were to refuse to rise, what might the judge do and how would affect the outcome?

I guess you missed where I quoted the article.
Early on it was identified that the league didn't have a rule on the subject, just a recommendation. My guess is the guy has the same odds of winning his case has the Browns have of winning the Super Bowl this season.

I guess I have to refer you back to your post where you stated you didn’t read the article.
Read the article!
Thanks, but it looks as if I didnt need to:
