DOJ provides Congress with texts between ex-Mueller agent Peter Strzok and mistress Lisa Page
Washington Examiner ^ | December 12, 2017 | Kelly Cohen

Posted on 12/12/2017 6:59:00 PM PST by Golden Eagle

The Justice Department provided congressional committees with hundreds of text messages between Peter Strzok — the agent on special counsel Robert Mueller’s team who was demoted for critical messages about President Trump — and his alleged mistress Lisa Page, a lawyer also assigned to the probe.

Those text messages were obtained by the Washington Examiner, and show extreme political opinions shared about the two dating back to 2015.

One message from Page to Strzok is a link to a story about Trump and Russian president Vladimir Putin, with the text “What an utter idiot.”

(Excerpt) Read more at washingtonexaminer.com ...

TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: clintoncrimefamily; mueller; strzok; trump
Looks like the contents of all the texts have already been leaked. Various articles include various texts, but they are all rabidly anti-Republican.

Not even a SMIDGEN of bias among these scrupulously-unbiased investigators!

Sheesh.

So do you think Peter Strzok had intent in both exonerating Clinton and then launching a political witch hunt against the republican party candidate.

It helps Kelly.

But looking at the bigger picture, the DOJ needs to release a copy of the FISA application.

It's a nothing burger unless something is done about it.

Which of course, no one will.

Sadly, I fear you’re right.

This stuff is interesting, but it's not what got Strzok and Page removed from the Mueller investigation.

I note that there are not comments, at least as revealed in these emails discussed in the article, that discuss Trump and any alleged Russian “collusion.” These email appear to all take place during the primaries, before Trump won the nomination, and before the Hillary campaign hired Fusion GPS to concoct the dossier. I'd be more interested to see what Strzok and Page had to say with each other from July 2016 onward. Those would be much, much more interesting.

Food for thought. When Gen. Petraeus was caught lying about his relationship with his “aide”, the Democrats brought down the wrath of God on him, and I think with justification.

Now where is that Wrath of God re Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page? Petraeus was married and betrayed his wife (just like Mika and Morning Smoo Scarborough did to their spouses), so shouldn’t Strzok and Page get the heave-ho by the Democrats?

I’m waiting for the sound of “indignation” and “wrath” to hit the airwaves from the much aggrieved Democrats.

Waiting for Warren, and Gillibrand, and Pelosi and Feinstein to burp. Waiting, waiting waiting.

Me to Operator - Is something wrong with this line? I don’t hear a thing.

Operator - Keep waiting!

It’s actually not a big deal.

Be honest with yourself. It sounds exactly what it reads like...two dudes at work talking about the crazy 2016 election.

______

They will almost certainly insist on that today with Strang-o Rosenstein to "testify" on The Hill. This ought to be a good show.

Jordan, Gaetz, and DeSantis will grill Rosenstein.

I have one quibble with this story.

Strzok and Page are both married to others, and they appear to have been having an extra marital affair.

I do not think that Page fits the definition of Strzok’s mistress. A mistress typically doesn’t support herself with an attorney’s salary.
