Yes, but numbers should be down by 50% or more! Need to really crush the NFL and end this b.s. once and for all.
especially after that fight by the SeaChickens on TV. Someone told me it was like watching an episode of Cops.
It will really be working when the playoffs and especially the Super Bowl ratings are noticeably down. We definitely have to keep it going.
I hope they have so much trouble selling SB ads that it’s 100% MyPillow and Life Alert or other infomercials. Or maybe Fox will just have some dead air while people have a bathroom break.
Skip Bayless. A name and a strong suggestion to the viewing audience in one.
According to Dan Patrick, who recently said ... according to sources near him “The smaller markets” are the ones with decreased viewing .... I guess Mr Relevant hasnt noted the empty seats in “Major Markets” nor the decrease in Direct Tv NFL viewing ...
I am not surprised at Fox taking the early road of downsizing .... and not like ESPN .. some of Fox sports programming could use some trimming or deleting
To paraphrase Hillary to West Virginia, “Maybe it’s time to find another line of work.”
I know this is an NFL story but does anyone know if NHL hockey is also down?
;-)
The Last one was the first time I hadnt watched a Super Bowl in decades.
Looks like 2017 -18 Super Bowl I wont watch again.
What did the NFL do to recently help this along? They gave a new multi year contract to Commissioner Roger Goodell. They just st dont give a $h!t about me and America. So they can get their money elsewhere
NFL? Not f..... Looking. I hope they starve. $200M for the Commissioner is total insanity. Let them eat cake.
“To save money, Fox likely will not send Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe and other FS1 stars on location in Minnesota”
if true, that’s some serious cheap on display; after all, how much could it cost to send them and a crew to cover the superbowl in Minnesota?
Die NFL scum!
The NFL self-destruction goes way beyond national television ratings and tickets sales.
ESPN is shutting down secondary radio stations, and on top of the national advertisers who are losing sales, local radio that carries NFL (like WMAL here in DC) have to be getting killed and their local advertisers along w/ them. Then there’s the licensing business, which can’t be doing well, and subsidiary game-day downstream chains like stadium vendors and services and tail-gait suppliers (7-Eleven, grocery) have to be feeling the downturn, as well.
As mentioned by another poster here, every percentage loss in revenue translates exponentially into profits. They’re all getting their asses kicked — all because of a lie.
