PS. Another one who had access to a year book we were never allowed to see. Probably because although she was Class of 1960, by the end of 1959, she was in Chicago.
Apparently, the Mercer Island yearbooks that were stolen from the school library as soon as he announced his candidacy never did reappear.
The type who wore plaid skirts and saddle shoes with Peter Pan collars is very unlikely to be a magnet for inter-racial dating in 1959 in Seattle.
The entire story is unbelievable. A fairy tale supported by a small handful of liars and an unethical press.
