Were they Apple SSDs No all were Crucial. Files disappeared, CCC failed to duplicate a drive and I stupidly didn't check it. Oh well. I am running old Mac Pro's with several SSDs.

If they weren’t to boot drives, then they may just need to be remounted. Check with Disk Utility.
