Senator, John McCain assures his positive legacy....Senator, Bob Corker kills his positive legacy with one vote.
Senator, John McCain comes to his senses and secures himself a forever, positive legacy by casting his "Yes" vote for the the "Trump Tax Cut & Reform Bill, late last night. Thank you, Senator McCain...you did right for your fellow Americans and our great nation.
As for Senator, Bob Corker he has, with one "nay" vote, relative the "Trump Tax Cut/Reform Bill", destroyed whatever decency, dignity, loyalty he may have had.
Politically, he is of no use to anyone, especially himself. He should resign today and allow the great citizens of Tennessee, to have a Senator that will represent them, not the hate and evil intentions in Bob Corker's heart and Soul. Down the road...Satan gleefully awaits for his arrival in "Hell". He should forever hang his head in shame for the Traitor, Turncoat to his fellow Americans, he really is.
John McCain, in HIS SELF INTEREST, voted for the elimination of the inheritance tax. McCain is not now, nor has he ever been, a hero.
It would take more then one correct vote by McCain to redeem him.
Wrong. McCain can still kill the bill. One more vote...

I’ll go one further, McCain cannot redeem himself for all the backstabbing he’s done over the years in his neverending quest to remain the Beltway’s Republican media darling.
Don’t kid yourself. McConnell convinced McCain to vote for the tax bill - McConnell needed a victory. McCain can always deny his vote for the final product. We’ll see.
Corker is just as much of a vindictive ass as McCain.
A bit over the top. God does not consign people to hell because of how they vote on tax cuts.
Trump is the only elected official to ever have the guts to speak the truth about McCain. Lots of his fellow POWs did. I was hoping Trump was going to bring them forward during his campaign. There were plenty who were willing to do it.
McCain has always said “I’m not a hero.”. But he sure got pissed when someone else said it. He is to be despised.
And don’t be surprised if there’s a private memorial and a cremation to make sure there are no protests and there will be no grave for people to pass on.
Seriously, John McCain is dying....I look at him in his wheel chair, as he is wheeled around the Senate by an aide and I see a man slowly slipping away from the bonds of life.
I have on many occasions attacked him with much scorn and dislike for him....but, yesterday, IMHO....John McCain did the right thing for both himself and his country. I always call ‘em like I see “em, and then let the chips fall where they may. So be it.
I am not talking about just Bob Corker’s vote on the Tax legislation. I am talking about his burning, evil, hate and envy of our POTUS, Trump.
I take it Corker got the short straw this time.
Flush Congress, the bowl is full.
I will give credit where credit is due. He voted against both Bush tax cuts citing the same reason he did here earlier, and he didn’t hate Bush with anywhere near the same intensity he does Trump. So yes, it’s a micro redemption for McCain.
You go to hell for rejecting God’s son, not for rejecting the President.
However, given his attitude and nasty demeanor, I’d say there’s a decent chance he is no Christian, but only God knows his heart.

McCain, on the other hand, loses nothing by sending the bill to conference. He still has time to grandstand when it comes time for the final vote. Man, he needs to go.
They discovered a second tumor. I don’t think he’ll be around much longer.
Maybe the people of TN can get him to go sooner.
One vote? And this bill, make a legacy?
So John McCain makes the right vote once and all of a sudden he is a hero? I think not.
