John McCain, in HIS SELF INTEREST, voted for the elimination of the inheritance tax. McCain is not now, nor has he ever been, a hero.

It would take more then one correct vote by McCain to redeem him.

Don’t kid yourself. McConnell convinced McCain to vote for the tax bill - McConnell needed a victory. McCain can always deny his vote for the final product. We’ll see.
Corker is just as much of a vindictive ass as McCain.
To: JLAGRAYFOX
A bit over the top. God does not consign people to hell because of how they vote on tax cuts.

I will give credit where credit is due. He voted against both Bush tax cuts citing the same reason he did here earlier, and he didn’t hate Bush with anywhere near the same intensity he does Trump. So yes, it’s a micro redemption for McCain.

So John McCain makes the right vote once and all of a sudden he is a hero? I think not.

Corker just set himself up nicely to be Cantor’d.

Corker will probably lobby for the demoncraps when he leaves office.
I hear they need help over at the Podesta Group.

McCain voting in favor of this does NOT secure a positive legacy. He’s been a greedy backstabber for years and there is no good legacy ever for him doing that.
I heard they main name an airport terminal after him, fitting it’s a lesser used terminal. maybe it even caters to the flown in illegals or something.

McCain is now and as far back as I can remember an incompetent arrogant egotistic an piece of feces. He isn’t a hero. In fact he’s about as far from a hero as you can get and the sooner his cancer kills him the better off the country will be

Every effort should be made to make sure Corker doesn’t enrich himself as a result of his “service” to the country.
No pork for Corker!
