I agree. I have been interviewed by FBI once supposedly as a witness of a financial crime. I had a witness with me to tell them I cannot speak with them until I have an attorney.

Good thing I did because I think they wanted to and would have made me a target. Instead I traded my cooperation for immunity. Something only an attorney can obtain for a witness.

Amen! The police are not our friends.

This comes from someone who has never been drunk, and never been drugged, and is an ordained minister.

Believing in rule of law does not at all equate to trusting the police.

I have met many police officers. I would say that 1 in 4 is someone who respected the rule of law and the rights of a citizen. Many were themselves criminal in behavior.
