Finally, a weapon against global warming that everyone can applaud. The mighty cheeseburger, with pickles and even a splash of mayo with the mustard, may be what weve been waiting for.
Chemists at three universities in Britain have discovered that when droplets of cooking fat are released into the atmosphere they form complex structures which attract moisture and become clouds. The bigger the city, the greater the concentration of skillets and fatty food, the more cooking fat is suspended in the atmosphere, and the researchers say this is responsible for putting 10 percent of the small particles in the air, inviting rainy weather. Fried foods may be good for the planet if not necessarily for the waistlines of people on the planet.

Living in the USA
I remember a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant in California with a menu of two or three dozen different kinds of deep fried dishes. It was dreamy.
I’ll have pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard and jalapenos, thanks.
I’m waiting for the study that proves drinking beer displaces CO2 with oxygen. I’m doing the research as I type.
But I thought we were supposed to worry about the cow flatulence?
Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger! No Coke. Pepsi.
I was just thinking of Catfish Parlor’s deep fried pickles during lunch today. I can’t wait to get back to Texas.
I don’t like deep fried pickles. Mind you, I love pickles and love fried food, but deep frying pickles ruins them IMHO.
They get limp and soggy. For me a pickle should have crunch, but to each their own.
Buy an Air Fryer, grease free food, tastes much better. Got one on black Friday, 50% off, fried up some fresh Mahi Mahi best dam fish I ever had. Also used it to make some french fries, delicious!
Buy one now or put it on your xmas list. Best damned fish or steak or any other protein you have ever had.
Seriously... you need one. They used to be so expensive. Not anymore. Edge to edge perfect steaks. Fish never over cooked or undercooked. Extremely forgiving, ie. want to leave the food in another 1/2 an hour or hour, go ahead.
Have 20 guests and want to make perfect poached eggs? Easy peasy. https://www.chefsteps.com/activities/the-egg-calculator Every egg perfect. Want to blow your guests minds and make a runny white solid yolk egg? (Not that you would want to) You can do it. Heck, pasteurize your own eggs to make this: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/10/two-minute-mayonnaise.html
So much better than store bought with all the additives and other chemicals.
Had my Anova for 2+ years now. Solid appliance. Expect 10 to 20 years out of it.
