After six seasons at Mississippi State, Dan Mullen is heading to Florida to be its next football coach. Mullen's 69-46 record for the Bulldogs makes him the second-winningest coach in school history, behind only Jackie Sherrill. The Bulldogs are 8-4 (4-4 SEC) this season.

Maybe five years ago. Now, I'll be happy with an offense that doesn't put me to sleep, and at least be good enough, so I won't have to endure any more women announcing our games.

He put them in the #1 spot, a place that only 6 teams have been in the last 4 years. He did that at a school not ever known as a football school and with mediocre recruiting potential.
I think he is the best possible candidate we could have gotten. He is a conditioning fanatic, very strong on discipline and knows the pressure that he will see at Florida. I’m optimistic for the first time in a decade.
Campbell is staying at Iowa State.
