Former President Barack Obamas oldest daughter, Malia, was accepted to Harvard last spring.
According to reports, Melia has taken well to the campus in recent months. The 19-year-old has used the time to settle in to campus after a gap year filled with interesting news stories.
Malia was filmed in a series of interesting circumstances at the music festival Lollapalooza in April.
Her 2016 internship for now infamous sexual predator Harvey Weinsteins company also made headlines in the midst of the movie moguls downfall.
In recent days, the tabloids have reported on Malia allegedly smoking and making out with a man at the Harvard Yale football game.
Now another news and culture site alleges to have video of Malia Obama blowing smoke rings in an undisclosed bathroom location. The site Barstool Sports posted this video on Instagram Thursday:
The caption on the video claims it is Malia and that she is firing off them Os like a boss.
Overlaying the video are the words Get your camera right now.
The video has been watched half a million times at the time of this posting.

Chuckle, snort.
Im glad you set such high standards for yourself.
Because the young lady is at a point in life where she's defining her values, away from the parents. She's not running for public office or serving in government. It would be hypocritical to say this is okay but be furious when Barron is criticized. Because we hope she grows up without her parents worldview and if we reward her bad behavior with publicity it sends the wrong message. Is that enough reasons?
To start with, she was accepted into Harvard a year ago last spring.
Here’s the question/issue: does Malia have any place to blow smoke rings where she won’t be recorded.
If not, then it’s wrong to post the video. We should assume she’d have preferred privacy but simply couldn’t find/get any.
If yes, then it’s okay to post and discuss the pics. Malia knows she is the subject of public attention. Anything she wants to do which she wants kept private, she should do in private.
One can hope such small revelations tarnish the “Obamas are perfect parents” claims that will be used to try to propel Michelle into the presidency.
Thank you for your reply. Please see my post 26.
Publicity for Malia is a two way street. She shouldn’t act publicly in ways likely to attract attention if she doesn’t want it.
Here’s a for instance. If you’re outdoors after dark, no one can record you blowing smoke rings.
But, you might say, it’s cold in Cambridge after dark. True, and it’s also illegal to smoke indoors in most places. Cambridge smokers are used to freezing their fannies off.
I totally agree with you.
Let’s leave the children out of the political arena unless they want to enter it.
“Send them the most carcinogen-filled cigarettes on earth.”...
If I knew that would get her and the rest of that classless coup, I would.
“why would she do it where it can be recorded?”........
She has nothing else to offer society so to keep her name/face in the public eye (and the media), she provides her ONLY “claim to fame”. A born loser.
The press was brutal to the Bush twins! Drinking a margarita just weeks before age 21.
You just pull your lips wide apart...and blow.
Interesting you should say that. People (i.e. conservatives) used to say Obama was without accomplishments. Contrarily, I used to point out that he was a very accomplished choomer.
Bol!
Looks like she’s got her mamma’s behind.
+100
Why are you assuming that she was smoking tobacco?
For the most part Malia isn’t getting public attention (that I’m aware of) for being a freshman at Harvard. She garners attention only when she allows herself to be photographed in situations that pique public interest. Kissing the British guy is an example, but as far as I could see the publicity was positive.
Otoh, if Malia chooses to blow smoke rings in a place where she’ll be recorded, she bears responsibility for it. She’s an adult, and she knows she’s a subject of widespread interest.
