So sad. There’s nothing like these wintry Christmas markts in Germanic Europe. So magical and beautiful. Really the last place these monsters should ever be allowed to Destroy.

The idea has spread. We are going to the Christmas markets in Seville, Spain on December 5th. It's not Germany but it's warmer and probably safer. Our next German trip will be Rothenberg.

Rothenberg is a major tourist destination. I spent the weekend there.
It was just “okay”. Bus load after bus load of tourists.

But, yes, the Christmas markets in Germany and Austria are something to behold.
