When flying cross-country in my F-15E, sometimes I’d climb to 50,000 feet. Well above “normal” airline traffic of around 30-35K.
I was on UHF while airliners use VHF, and I’d hear ATC reply to airliners asking about this odd thing flying miles above them. Sometimes, based on ATCs reply, we were identified and reported as a UFO sighting.

I wonder how many UFO sightings were logged when the HABU was still in operation? :-)
