I listen to the song every year... just a tradition. Not that I agree with his politics, because I don't. But what is interesting is that when he did this song, he was a progressive liberal. He was "out there." Now the progressives and the homosexual lobby will probably soon ban the song.
Our country has fallen off the edge is so many areas.

I saw him in concert a year and a half ago. His commentary was vague poltically, almost like a closet conservative. I have no illusions about his liberalism, but I think he is a traditional liberal, and his views have started to border on the edge of conservative as he ages. Jmho. I still give him a pass because I like his music. And his dads.
