Many people do not know that Barry Cowsill died in Katrina. I had his autograph at one point, but long lost. He was my favorite. Recently went on a kick watching what happened with the Cowsills on YouTube and it was a really sad story. Abusive father...had bad effect on all the kids...sigh

And that is probably quite close to the percent of graduates still living.

I had and still have a crush on Shirley Jones, for her age she is still smoking. Sorry for David, nice guy and I really enjoyed the TV show.
His Father Jack was in a 1960’s TV show I liked called “He and She” and he also was on several Columbo episodes early before he died in that fire at his apartment.

I still have the metal Partridge Family metal lunchbox with its thermo in very good condition. That just quadrupled in value.

Abusive father...had bad effect on all the kids...sigh The oldest {I believe} brother Billy passed about that same timeframe in Canada. They did a live taped concert which also got released on CD Billy Cowsill Benefit Concert and sang at least Partridge Family song on it. It's also on Youtube. Barry Cowsill is performing in that concert so it was before Katrina. He worked with quite a few bands from what I've read.

I don't know how this transplant ranking works. My sister's husband got ill a month ago, her daughter is a nurse and said to get him to a hospital pronto. Brother-in-law is like me, we don't like doctors and avoid going frequently for checkups. So he goes in, and starts getting worse with ailments to the point where he went into ICU last week due to liver failure, and then kidney failure. Got some kind of massive infection that quickly took him downhill in a couple weeks. Guy doesn't do drugs, smoking or drinking, puzzled as to why he got sick.
Surprised me how quickly he got approved for a liver transplant. My sister got a call last night that a donor is on life support and that the operation will proceed tonight. As for being rich, I don't think that is a factor although my brother-in-law is very well off. All the money in the world is meaningless if you lose your health. My sister is going nuts because he's telling her what she needs to know in case he doesn't make it. I'm hoping he does as well as a close friend who was at death's door and got a kidney transplant 6 months ago, and got so healthy she was out dancing within a couple months and looks great. Scary stuff, transplants.
