Yes, it does. I went to streaming long ago.
The dog show in Philly is my T-day viewing highlight!
Interesting - I was not aware of this.
Hey, those folks can then have a crime free tv day.
Apparently Jerry doesn't know how this works, the customer doesn't me diddly, and as to pay the bills, you will Jerry and how!
This is why we dumped Dish and all the others, I am fortunate to be able to receive over the air and everything else is ala cart through Roku.
CBS and my cable company got into it right before the NFL playoffs. I bought an aerial. The funny part was 2 days after they shut off CBS the bills came out and there was a price hike that was more than what they were arguing with CBS over. They got a lot of hate mail, and caved. Gave the aerial to charity.
We have something in common....daughters addicted to anime!
Try actually talking to family members, and doing something more interactive together.
My basic DISH package about doubled in price over the last decade. Im soooo tempted to cancel it period. As it is no NFL games
Not everyone lives close enough to town for OTA signals.
same problem here. I have direct TV..
we tired a at&t hot spot but hit the 22 gig cap at 10 days in.. They claim they only slow you during heavy network use, I live in the sticks. 1 person per square mile.. that crap was slow at 3 AM...
“The outage knocked WCBS-TV Channel 2 in New York one of Horns favorite stations from his channel offerings. I am going to miss NCIS, Bull and NCIS New Orleans, Horn said, referencing popular CBS shows. “
Now THAT is criminal!
Not sure about the new Dish equipment but the older receivers had a small wire external antenna to capture over the air signal. Additionally, the actual dish on the roof acts as an external over the air antenna. I was able to pull in signals from over 40 miles using that setup.
I forgot to mention that if you connect to this way the new broadcast channels show up on the Dish guide and you can DVR these stations as well.
Not following the NFL closely, aren’t broadcasts in the home city a blackout via OTA if the game IS NOT SOLD OUT?
This has signs of the NFL forcing fans to buy tickets rather than watching the game at home. Do we hear “Conspiracy”?
Fallout of Charlie Rose ‘problem’.
Why would we want to watch players who despise America, it’s patriotic symbols, play games making millions of dollars and complain that the rest of us aren’t doing our part. NO... NFL for me this season.
“Try actually talking to family members, and doing something more interactive together.”
Thanks for the lecture.
We spend all kind of times together, doing all kinds of things. Two of my kids attend Big 10 schools and enjoy cheering on their teams.
Happy Thanksgiving - and get bent!
I have Dish, and live close to Dallas. Wasn’t going to watch the NFL anyway.
I hear yah. We had Hughes satellite internet with a limit. It was only good for surfing and email. No serious downloads and definitely no Netflix.
