CNN contributor Ana Navarro stopped by The View on Tuesday, filling in for Meghan McCain as co-host. And it didnt take long before she mixed it up with the rest of the panel.
During a discussion about sexual misconduct allegations in politics, Navarro argued that partisanship plays a role in how progressives and conservatives treat various claims .
You look the other way when its your people and you look for every fault when its the people against you, Navarro said. Were seeing it plainly on this sexual harassment issue If youre a Democrat, a progressive, you dont want this against [Sen.] Al Franken [D-MN], but you want it against [Alabama GOP Senate candidate] Roy Moore, and you want it against [President] Donald Trump.
Joy Behar took umbrage with Navarros position for, in Behars opinion, trying to equate Moores alleged child molestation offenses with Frankens alleged misconduct.
Ana, stop saying it like that, Behar said. Because a child molester is not the same as grabbing somebody and taking a picture, or sticking your tongue down their throat. Its not the same.
No, Joy, Navarro said. I think nobody gets a pass.
Navarro did say she regards Moores alleged incidents to be more serious than Frankens. She then substituted Trump to make the same point.
What Im saying is there were people who heard this videotape and saw this videotape of Donald Trump and said Its locker room talk,' Navarro said. And theres people on the other side who are seeing this picture of Al Franken and saying Oh, it was just a joke, and a juvenile picture taken in jest. So we are more likely to excuse the people we want to excuse and not excuse the others. You cannot cherry pick morality and decency!
No one is excusing anybody, Behar replied.
the difference in Moore and Frankenstein is that Moore is totally innocent and it was just lies and forgery. Frankenstein is avclass A pervert who needs jail.
Behar sure is loyal to Franken. Interesting. I guess those liberal globalist stick together.
When did Judge Moore molest children?
exactly correct. Sen Frakenstein has admitted everything!
Ana Navarro stopped by The View on Tuesday, filling in for Meghan McCain....
Bwahahahaha!
Cherry Pick??
= = =
Sexism!!
Assualt!!
etc.
Poor cherry (the fruit).
What will be it’s new (self declared) name?
it’s, oops, should be its.
Comparing the accusations against Franken and Moore:
1) The incidents that Franken is accused of happened 5-15 years ago. The incidents that Moore is accused of supposedly happened 35-40 years ago.
2) There is photographic proof of Franken’s misbehavior. The only physical evidence supporting Moore’s accusers is an apparently forged yearbook signature that the accuser refuses to turn over for independent examination.
3) Franken has admitted to the behavior of which he was accused. Moore has vehemently denied it.
4) Moore’s accusers have magically appeared out of nowhere four weeks before an election, coordinated by the politically biased Washington Post. Franken’s accusers have come forward on their own.
5) At least one of Moore’s accusers was a Hillary campaign operative. Another of Moore’s accusers is the client of longtime democratic dirty tricks operative Gloria Allred. Franken’s accusers apparently were admirers of him and his politics before the sexual harassment incidents.
6) Even if we were to assume that there is a small shred of truth among the very significant falsehoods that have already been told about Moore, consider the circumstances. Moore was 32, single and recently out of the service at the time of the allleged incidents. Franken was 52 and married at the time of the alleged incidents. The age difference between Franken and his victim was 22 years. The age difference between Moore and his alleged victim was approximately 15 years.
Never. They just made it up out of whole cloth.
Mediaite.com surges ahead of Newsweak (which recently compared President Trump to Charlie Manson) in the cringeworthy/outrageous fake news department.
These people are journatrolls living under bridges.
you sum up well. It depends on the criteria by which people judge these situation. Joy Behar and other liberals are saying Moore is a “child molester”, apparently those words were part of the talking points handed out. And they are trying to say that Franken’s behavior is not as bad as allegations against Moore. These people are proving Ana Navarro’s point, whether they want to or not, that is the truth.
Back in the day, Liberals crucified Clarence Thomas, and downplayed any charges against Bill Clinton. Politics is everything to the liberal. Sexual charges are simply another tool in the liberal arsenal of character assassination.
I cannot believe I'm about to type this because I find Anna Navarro so patently offensive on every other issue, on this one she's nailed it. This is NOT a political issue. It is a MORALITY and DECENCY issue.
No one is excusing anybody, Behar replied.
Wrong Joy. YOU are excusing every single Democrat for mere fact that they're a Democrat. She made excuses for Franken in this very exchange!
Behar demonstrates exactly what's wrong with bitter partisan feminists and not coincidentally, many others in the Democrat AND Republican Party.
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that this would be the kind of behavior that's going to get outed and the swamp would get drained as a result. Yet, it appears to be exactly what's happening. The list of perverts on both sides of the aisle grows daily and it's big enough now that I cannot commit their names to memory anymore.
Curious to see how many more names get added to the list by this time tomorrow.
Never Trumpers and drive by media radio talk hosts were having a field day ignoring the fact that all of the accusers were of the age of legal consent. Including the one claiming when 14 years old. For her accusations are the juiciest. All of which Moore denied. Because they hinted at and was actually accused by a group of being a “Ped”. A result after the above was being gleefully reported and dwelled on by CNN in a touchy feel-ly manner. As if it came off of a never given or made police report which requires a sworn complaint.
All the accusations originate and are quoted from a media source which supports positions like abortion, gender reclassification, gay marriage, and nullification of religious influence on culture. All of which are solidly opposed by candidate Roy Moore.
Despite that fact and that it has been uncovered that his accusers are working for the Perversion Party and that their accusations are false and politically motivated. The drivebys and the nevers media are not reporting this. but are mentioning one accuser is a “Republican” then when examined turns out to be questionable
Worse yet even though these accusations have been solidly refuted. The general public relying on certain venues including talk show hosts are not being told what’s been uncovered. .
Here is background on 4 accusers. One works for the perverts that one knows the one who claimed she was 14. But was actually 17 at the time ? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3603606/posts
Latest charge : Grad book signature a forgery; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3604591/posts
someone named Roy or Ray signed it Moore’s last name was added to it. His legal secretary at the time he was a Circuit Court Judge declared it a forgery because her initials; DA, appear with his signature in that year book. Because she would do so to verify his signature only on his court rulings.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3605761/posts In their report CNN doctored the page which shown the forged signatures that were made in blue ink and displayed them in black ink.
“I guess those liberal globalist stick together.”
Yup. And they fight to the end.
I wish we were like that. We would have the upper hand instead of the other way around.
It’s kinda like when I was a kid, we used to sleep out in the summer and stay up all night playing army with flashlights. You get hit with a beam, you’re dead. Well my dad bought me a fancy flashlight with a right angle head and a flash button and just like that I was king of the war - I could blast people from around a corner and I could get them with a button press while they frantically worked their switches. It was like the scenes in “The Guns of the South” where Confederate troops were mowing down Yankees with their AK-47’s. I was invincible.
Next time, however, several of the other kids had them too. It sucked to have my own tactics turned on me. Suddenly I had to live under the rules I had created, and it hurt. That’s where the rats are today.
