Mrs. Obama was among the sold-out crowd at the Anthem, the Districts newest music venue, rocking along to the greatest-hits set list featured during the soul singers Badu vs. Everythang tour. Although Badu never performed at the White House during Obamas time there, in 2015, the then-first lady made an appearance at BETs Black Girls Rock! celebration honoring Badu, among other artists.
