Liking the wood.
We leave the huge living room windows open most of the time and wave/gesture at the lookie loos. It’s boat traffic so anyone moving along slowly is a guaranteed lookie loo. Yes, the dogs would eat them if they got too close. But the bedroom curtains being open sends them hollering even if no one is in there. Same side of house and two feet from the living room windows but seeing a bed somehow brings out the perv in them.
I’m massively in love with wood. I love the smell of it and the feel of it. I loved every hour I sanded and watched that grain come alive. I designed the little bathroom so that the pieces of cherry plywood were small enough that I could lift them and then spent days moving them around the lawn to follow the sun so that they’d darken. Do you do anything with wood yourself?
