I’m from Green Bay; my high school colors were green & gold and I am part owner of the Green Bay Packers from when they sold stock after the 1997 Super Bowl victory. So, it took quite a bit to get me to boycott the NFL, but they managed it. Until the owners require their players to stand for the national anthem, or sit for the game, I won’t watch a minute, and I’m not alone.
Since Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the anthem in a misguided protest against police violence, the NFL has been hemorrhaging fans. Both TV viewership and attendance at stadiums are well down and once people find other ways to spend their Sundays, they may not come back.
Let there be no doubt, the NFL is a business and the owners of those billion dollar plus franchises have a problem. A bunch of their players want to play social justice games, but their core audience, the folks who pay the bills, just want them to play football. And we really don’t like the disrespect shown to the anthem, the flag and those who fought for our country including those who came home in coffins with that flag draped over them.

I will stick with my brothers and sisters who have “written that check” before I will show any support to some over paid thug who plays a kids game.

Ahhhhhhhhh....today’s game was a thing of beauty! Hornibrook and the rest of Barry’s “Kids” have gotten little respect over the course of this season.

In my neck of the woods tickets are practically being given away to fill more seats the night before. Mostly to college kids at bars and stuff.
Someone today offered me 4 tickets and a parking pass to the Giants game tomorrow. I said no thanks. It is a 2+ hour drive, and makes for a long day. However, in years past, I have never ever heard of someone just giving tickets away like it is a minor league baseball game, even when they were terrible like this year.
My sister in law has quit drinking diet pepsi coz’ the last big pack she bought has the NFL advertised on each can. She says she is writing to their corporate hq. and giving them hell.
The NFL, like most major corporations, is infected with the PC virus. Symptoms of the PC (political correctness) virus in business are virtue signaling insulting much of their market, being oblivious to lost profits, and profuse displays of how “woke” they are.
let the kneegros beware, i see a hundred mc-mansions, expensive cars and trucks and all manner of other toys going up on the market in the next few years once the salary cuts come into play to pay for their little tantrums, and it will be glorious!!! if the white boys are smart, the will start unloading their debts now before the rush
