This is the new lie progressives are using-—However, it’s full of misleading information. #1, Suicides, gang violence and legal defense make up 90% of the so called 2.8 Billion-—but these items would happen regardless guns or not...it’s a lame argument.

I agree mostly.

But I kind of wonder about the Gang shooting part.

Back in the 1950’s street gangs did not use guns very much. They were harder to come by and more expensive. Consequently, knives and clubs were more often the weapon of choice for street gangs.

Now gangs can afford guns because nearly all of them are in the recreational drug business. The price of a gun is no problem.

But to my point, if going to have to fight up close and personal, hand to hand you may have second thoughts about the matter.

Pulling a trigger requires little intestinal fortitude. Pulling a knife on a guy that may end up gutting you like a fish takes some confidence and a willingness to feel cold steel in your gut and your spilling intestines hitting feet.
