The estate of the late, great Dick Clark has just price-chopped his beloved Malibu hideaway by $250,000, bringing the price down from $3.25 million to $2,995,000.
After two years on the Malibu housing market, this Flintstone-esque home atop a bluff got a price cut for the second time, as first reported by Curbed. It came down $250,000 in the summer of 2013, and without a buyer in sight, the price has been reduced by a quarter million dollars once again.
One of Malibu’s landmark properties, Clark’s stone home features unparalleled 360 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands, Boney Mountains, Serrano Valley, Los Angeles sunsets and sparkling city lights.
This unusually imaginative architectural creation is nestled atop a mountain on eye-popping 22.89 acres and features 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, as well as breathtaking ocean and mountain views. As for the pics I posted, they’re simply images I found on an Google Images search for “Falling Water”. I made no adjustments to them. The reason that they were identical in dimension, I think, is that I copied them from the Google Images *results* page, as opposed to directly from the source. Actually one step beyond it.
I first right clicked on the images from the initial results page in order to open them in a new tab, then copied them at that point, via “View Selection Source” (with Firefox browser). It doesn’t seem to work from the initial results page, the one with many smaller thumbnail pics.
Hope this all makes sense. :)
AND... I hope I recalled correctly what I did in these two particular instances. Not so sure now.

Oops! Just realized you were referring to the images I posted in Post 62, not the earlier larger ones. In this case, I really don’t recall, at least right now.

Ah man, give the guy a break. It's probably a genetic disorder that only allows him to see stainless steel.
Buildings are, at bottom, enclosures from the elements. If your "vision' negates the goal of weather-tightness, you fail.
