U too young for that s & p. Hurts?
I’m ancient at 5 and 29. My dentist recommend it, I avoided dental care for years and wasn’t the best brusher. He wanted 560 dollars. Luckily my uncle is friends with a dentist and he did it for 200, and did the whole mouth in one visit too though I have to followup next week.
No shot but there wasn’t much actual pain, yet it was *extremely* unpleasant, the scraping! And there was blood. I had several cavities drilled and this was worse I’d say, though at least there was no awful burning tooth smell and I didn’t have to have mush for dinner.
I was this close to going to a dental college to have students do it. That was a good non-decision I’d say. You want an experienced tooth scraper.
