Yes, well: Even when they are making a robot that is NOT for sex, but just to practice technology - it seems to always be styled Female.
That seems to say something interesting about the (predominantly) male engineers who build these things...
(And when you buy a GPS or other technological gizmo that talks at you, the voice is almost always female-sounding.)
