How fast? Try an elapsed time of 9.65 seconds at 140 mph. Zero to 60 mph happens in a mere 2.3 seconds. The Demon is also the first production car to achieve a front-wheel lift. Its 840-hp of awesomeness.

Odd you should mention that. Just last Wednesday after softball we were sitting at the picnic table when the conversation turned to work experiences. Since the 4 of us are retired from the Detroit auto industry, J.J. related how he was on the production line at the Dodge Main plant in Hamtramck that made the limited production Super Bee in the 426 hemi engine.......
The 383 and 440 Magnum we’re bad ass. But nothing could outrun a 426 Hemi.
I had. 69 Sport Fury with a 318 that would haul butt top in.
The one u got to drive had, as we used to say, had a radio and a heater. Too much power than a 16 year old.
They probably didn’t want FAG to be their abbreviation.
I am a fan of super ultrafast, untraexpensive eurocars.

Had what I thought was a Dodge Hellcat go by me on crowded I-10 leading up to a construction area in the heart of west Phoenix. Guy was driving 90 mph plus like an absolute idiot. 16 lane changes in congestion traffic in about five miles.
If he would have wrecked I would have pulled over awaiting the cop so I could testify.
Absolute moron.
I see that frequently from an Infiniti or Lexus. I drive 5 over most of the time and I am middle of the pack in Viginia. In NC on I-40/85, old Asian women give me the finger as they blow by me.

My wife was very unhappy that I got pulled over by the AZ Highway Patrol going 92 in her Accord up on I-40 near Joseph City.
I told the highway patrolman I was on my last leg after 7500 miles to see all my grandkids. He sent me home with a warning, LOL. My wife could not believe it as I have always received warnings in such situations.
Now what I want to know, has anyone driven the Alfa Romeo Giulia?
I drove on of those Alfa’s but it was back in the ‘60’s and it was much slower than my Pontiac GTO but did corner better.
I had a buddy that had been the Porsche-Audi sales manager in my area that I had bought some vehicles from. He had a new Alfa Romeo roadster he had me drive in ‘72. He got me to do a panic brake stop with no hands on the wheel at about 60 mph. The dang thing braked to a full stop without pulling a bit to the right or the left. I was amazed.
You drive I81 then.
How can you have a water heater in an uninsulated Chicago garage?
Wow. Aren’t Bentleys 800 hp?
Well, I’m happy with 350.
5.56mm
Correct. Between I-77 and Harrisonburg.
Why yes, yes I have, driven a Giulia. Awesome driving vehicle, a real drivers car. I am a little biased, because I own a Alfa 4C spider, an animal. I like these cars better than some of the high end cars I’ve owned, M3, 911TT, etc.
Absolutely fookin’ NOT! And the were 98.5% all incountry made up until ~2000. We still have 98 SL2 (~160,000 miles), 2001 LW300 (238,000 miles) and 2008 Sky Redline roadster (175,000 miles) in the family. I gave my 1992 SL2 with 216,000 miles to the Salvation Army still running like a top and I sold my 2002 VUE AWD at 237,000 still running fine. All were/are passing emissions tests.
Saturns are some of the best cars ever made in that price range and the service was spectacular and the parts are cheap.
My 2011 Silverado just passed its first smog check at 238,000 miles in July, probably hit 250,000 in next week or 2. I did put a tranny in that at 186,000, I wouldn’t mind if it broke again either as it’s got 100k warranty LOL.
Roadsters. I have owned a couple and they are truly something that you have to do once in life at a minimum but they are very hard to live with on a daily basis.
I was looking at my first one when I was newly married and about 22 in the early 70s. An old guy (who was probably younger than I am now) told my wife and I we better buy the one I was looking at as it would never be practical in life again until I was his age. Scared me so bad I bought it that day.
