No, she’s tacitly saying she is unwilling to work for a pervert scumbag. She shouldn’t HAVE to tell him to eff off, he should not be an @$$hole.
Women have been in the workforce since WWII, it’s not a new complication. And really the only thing men need to learn is: don’t be sleazy about it, and don’t require more than 1 rejection per woman. Those are the rules these guys are getting busted for violating.
I would think it would be obvious. Make sure there is at least some minimal level of proof before throwing anyone under the bus. To do otherwise is a major injustice even if they deserve it.
It’s pretty much what this country is founded on. Will we be ruled by law or by the will of the mob?
Lets be very clear. We aren’t talking about legal proceedings. We aren’t talking about anyone going to jail. We are talking about peoples reputations.
So “rule of law” really doesn’t apply. No one is being judiciously punished.
Of course, if the accused filed criminal charges, we might find out who the liars are. That they don't is also telling.
Either the accusations are lies, or they really are victims. Or maybe a combination. Either way, do we want to support this with our money?
If a persons livelihood and reputation are destroyed; they are indeed being punished. The only thing left is their freedom.
A famous person would probably have to leave the country if it was bad enough or stay in their home all the time which would be the same thing as taking their freedom.
So yes; they are being judiciously hurt. The only question is the degree so there better be proof and if there isn’t; I hope that person wins in civil court taking everything from their accusers so they then find out what it’s like.
Gossip is not proof.
A month after canceling to appear at a dinner to honor Brett Ratner, Gal Gadot still has a lot to say... says she won't reprise her role for future "Wonder Woman" movies unless Brett Ratner is not involved... "Wonder Woman" has already brought in over $400 million. But if Gal Gadot has anything to say about it, the producer won't see another dime. But she made the first one?
