Anyone think the Roy Moore frenzy is media's attempt to distract from Trump's success in Asia?

Notice in Caine’s case they just dropped it once he was out, as if their years and years of alleged “pain and suffering” was suddenly relieved.

The timing of this story is all wrong, though -- in terms of its impact on the election. If they really wanted to damage Moore it would have come out just days before the election.

That's how I knew Hillary Clinton was in serious trouble last year. That "Access Hollywood" tape was clearly supposed to be a last-ditch smear that would be released shortly before the election, but they had to put it out in late September because the Wikileaks revelations were devastating to Clinton and they were desperate to get those stories out of the news.

First it was Donna Brasile, now Roy Moore. The news talks about all this drama instead of reporting on the important trip by the President.

Not to distract from Trump’s success. To try to blame some prominent Republican of a sex crime to minimize the wave of Democrat sex crime reports, so they can say “see, you do it too”.
It is like European governments equating wolf whistles with Muslim rape gangs. If they inflate the definition, then they can say it is all of society, not just liberal rapists and the sacred “victim” groups they consider incapable of being guilty.

This sordid episode confirms the Republicans are in process of committing political suicide. We voted the bastards in and this is how they reward us. Asking us to eat an allegation contrived 38 years after it was supposed to have happened. Show me evidence and I will consider their position. But don’t piss down my leg and tell me it is raining.

I’m seeing reports both here and elsewhere on the internet that this accuser has made similar accusations against 4 different pastors in Alabama and asked for money each time. If that’s true, this story is over and Bezos and the Compost just stepped in it big time.

Agreed. It also distracts from the MANY Democrat sex crimes being reported, and the media WANTS to bash a Republican with that stick to distract from liberal rapists and hurt Republicans in general at the same time.
That it lets them minimize liberal sex crimes (90%+ of the problem) by saying Republicans do it, too, is only a bonus.

I think this is the deep state trying to get a victory for the dimoKKKRAT. Roy Moore is an outsider and they cannot have that in Washington. I consider McCain as part of the deep state.

No it’s an attempt to get the Democrat to win the election.

I think it’s a collusion between the Dems, media, and the RINOS (GOPe), to destroy Judge Moore’s chances at the polls next month.

Of course
WHERE’S THE CRIME ?
THESE ALLEGED MOORE SEXUAL MISCONDUCT INCIDENTS OF 38 YEARS AGO WERE WITH FEMALES BEYOND THE AGE OF CONSENT. THEY SHOW NO IMPOSITION OF PHYSICAL FORCE OR WILL WHICH WOULD MAKE IT A CRIMINAL ACT.
In the 19th century marriages between teen aged women and older men were common so the age of consent was in the teens. Presently the age of consent for women in Alabama is 16. In 1979 according to Gateway Pundit it was 12. In Mexico it’s 14.

“Getting a loss in Alabama, which appears to be their aim, will weaken POTUS & give them cover to do nothing.”

Excellent point. Very perceptive.

Doug, you are a genius. By the way, in 1998, Nancy Pelosi held me down while Chuck Shumer sexually assaulted me. My proof? My word. It is up to them to prove it did not happen.

The special election date is December 12, 2017.

So the story broke a little early. This may give enough time for the story to fall apart and have no impact.

It is a sign of desperation that this story broke too early to have electoral impact.

It’s going to backfire big time within a few days, if not already!

The swamp fears Moore and it was time to take him out. They would rather have the Rat.
