A guy named Chris Christie ran the election. Do you think Governor Christie committed voter fraud?

What, specifically, do you think occurred? Did you see evidence of voter fraud? Are they still pulling boxes of ballots out from under the stairs in the church basement? Did you see buses full of voters unloading and then going on to their next polling place?

Seems like some facts would be helpful.

I don’t think you are nuts, but I’m from NYC and like NJ, we are in very liberal democrat states. So I doubt there was enough fraud to throw the election. Just too many libs.

Assuming a result you don’t like is the product of a vast scheme is a one-way ticket to Sandy Hook-truther-land and will leave you unable to engage with reality. It’s what the dems/msm have done with the russia non-story

Sorry to say, but it goes both ways.

When I was in college dating my wife, her father was involved in local Newark politics canvassing etc. for a Councilman for one of Newark’s wards. This councilman happened to be running as a republican.

There was a house in his ward where someone lived. I don’t remember who the person was that owned the house. At any rate, my future father in law, mother in law, wife, sister in law, 2 future cousins in law and an aunt and uncle in law, all were registered as living at that address.

It was like a 2 bedroom tiny cape house that. Other people were also registered there. There were like 40 or 50 people using that house as a mailing address for voter registration and my future wife used to vote by absentee ballot. Until we got married and moved, she never once voted in the town where she actually lived.

So does it happen? Yes, I’m 100% convinced it happens and I’m 100% convinced both sides do it. Does it help the Dems more? Like the other person said, if it seems that way, it may just be because there are more Dems.

It’s well known that the Republican Establishment turns a blind eye to voter fraud.

In fact the ‘e’ in GOPe should stand for ‘enablers’, as they allowed, even encouraged, Democratic voter fraud for years.

No one will look into it.

Why would complain about voter fraud in an election where the Republican candidate lost by more than 13 points?

Sometimes you lose just because you're an awful candidate running as the lieutenant governor for a governor who wore out his welcome years ago.

Sorry--you're just nuts. This is a very liberal state, that voted for Obama and Hillary in overwhelming numbers. 😀 Kim will be forever tied to Christie who, primarily as a result of the Bridgegate Fiasco, has an approval rating that is below the Ayatollah of Iran. Though you and I are appalled by the ideology of Phil Murphy and voted accordingly, not enough of our fellow Garden Staters agreed. The fat cat public service folks, particularly the well-pensioned teachers, voted for Phil almost unanimously, as did the many Jerseyites on the dole. No, I deplore the result as much as you do, but attribute it to the political makeup of the state, and not fraud. Check out the NJ Marijuana thread from earlier today, where I ask for reasons to continue to live in NJ, rather than moving to Texas or Pennsylvania. Spoiler Alert: I didn't get any good reasons to stay.

No, I believe that NJ decided to try a liberal, since a RINO liberal was being an idiot. Him on a public beach while it was closed because of no budget was the last straw.

I also live here in NJ. I see too many Democrats to believe in massive voter fraud when they win. I’m surprised when any Republicans win state wide office. There will be fewer and fewer of us as time goes on and we die or move. Those who come after are like the rest of the blue state majorities. Poor education and immigration unchecked are the causes, not fraud, although it does exist and swings close races.

Does anyone else thing voter fraud or am I just nuts?

Asking the question does not make you nuts, but here are some facts.

The voting machines in our district (I work the polls) start the day by printing out a starting tally when the machine is first turned on. It always reads zero. If it does not we are to call the county for instructions. The machines are not connected to the internet or any phone line. At the closing of the polls the machines print out a final tally. The start and finish tallies have to be signed by us board workers and returned to Borough Hall along with the recording cartridges. So unlike a box of paper ballots, they couldn't be switched out from a car trunk between the polling place and the destination.

There are 565 municipalities in New Jersey. I tried to search the number of total districts (one polling place per district; our municipality has four) but couldn't find a figure for that.

So to have the machines fiddled with to, say, change every third R vote to (D)RAT would require a full time crew working double shifts between elections at each machine storage location. Meaning fraud in that manner is unlikely.

I think we lost because our state is too RAT infested for us to win.
