My X will be delivered to me within 2 weeks. My wife prefers the Android phone. Whichever of our two phones is the latest version is the best. I will bet dollars to donuts her next Android will be at the same price point as my Apple as they attempt to compete with the tech. Considering phones these days are hand held supercomputers (of a decade ago) a grand per device isn’t surprising.

You are right - the Samsung Note 8 is a thousand dollars, too.

The introductory price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on AT&T: $949.99

It’s only $50 less expensive than the iPhone X with the same capacity but slower storage and much slower processor, poorer quality screen.

Google Pixel 2 XL also on AT&T: $849.00

That’s far slower, less capable. Gee, Apple’s price is not so much out of line. . .
