Google has a feature where you can browse old newspapers, it’s quite amazing to see the difference in reporting. Also just plain neat to see stuff from a different time.

NY Historic Newspapers org for a while. Nice to see beyond NY as well.

Thanks -- really cool! I always enjoy reading the advertisements as much as the news in old papers. Advertising has come a long way. Ad copywriters in 1897 sure had a way with words. Don Draper hadn't been born yet...
