Thanks -- really cool! I always enjoy reading the advertisements as much as the news in old papers. Advertising has come a long way. Ad copywriters in 1897 sure had a way with words. Don Draper hadn't been born yet...

After re-reading the ad, I think Hillary could have benefitted significantly from Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescription.
