“A lot of legal ramifications.”
Name one.
So no, not really, not in Texas. Except the spelling of the name to put on the commemorative plaque. Think his family will sue the citizen? Zero chance of an award for damages. Think the DA will bring a case? Fat chance. Think you can get a grand jury to indict? Dream on.
This isn’t DC. The sick lawyers will pretty much have nothing to do but represent the dead in a proceeding against the worthless estate of the killer.
The guy who shot him will have zero problems. And trust me, he won’t have to pay for an attorney.
Amen to your post.
I love my state. I’m so sorry that this asshat penetrated the most sacred place in the world. Are people going to start arming themselves to go to church???? Prayers up for the families. Horrible, just horrible..........;(
Great post about a great state.
Rule of law is rule of law.
Not sure why you think texas allows you to chase down a person and kill in cold blood..but uh..whatever
He was escaping and runs off the road.a citizen cant walk up and execute someone even if he just killed someone. Exactly what legal doctrine allows that? Judge jury and executioner???????????
Someone kills a loved one in your house and flees. You find him at McDonald’s. What texas law allows you to kill him?
