Live-in boyfriends are 10X more likely to abuse and kill.My "step-dad" likely had something to do with my dad's death. Then, he hung around for the next 13 years beating us.
He finally left when the government checks stopped...right about the time I returned from boot camp and beat his ass in front of his friends.
