IIRC, Beatty was exactly the type to do this kind of thing over and over and over again back in the day.
I remember one time at work, a young lady came in wearing a sheer blouse, and hadn’t worn a bra. I went up to her and informed her that, in the bright lights here, her blouse was effectively transparent, something she hadn’t realized before I told her. She was mortified, and I offered her my suit jacket for the day. But not before openly taking a long, admiring stare at her breasts. She had very nice breasts. I can only imagine what my fate would have been in 2017.
After several decades together, and several kids, I still like her breasts.
