How the CIA 'found' Hitler alive in Colombia in 1954: Agency was told about man with a VERY familiar face who lived in an ex-SS community where he was called The Fuhrer and given Nazi salutes, declassified files show
- Declassified CIA report details claims about a man claiming to be Hitler living in Colombia in the 1950s
- Phillip Citroen, a former SS officer, told agents a man called Adolf Schuttlemayer was living in the town of Tunja, 85 miles north of Bogota, among a group of former Nazis in 1954
- Citroen said the men called Schuttlemayer The Fuhrer, gave him Nazi salutes and 'afforded him storm-trooper adulation'
- He even provided a photograph showing a man with a strong likeness of Hitler
- Citroen said Hitler left Colombia in January 1955 and moved to Argentina
Phillip Citroen (left), a former SS soldier, went to CIA agents in 1954 to say that he had seen a man claiming to be Adolf Hitler (right) alive and living in Colombia. Citroen gave agents this photo to support his claims

Yeah — Hitler allowed the guy to take photos of him. Uh huh. The picture looks like some mini-me sporting a Hitler ‘stache. Straight hair and a ‘stache and lots of people look like the Fuhrer.

Thanks for posting. Big lies; governments have become quite adept at it.

When I was around twelve my mom hired a personal guitar teacher for me. I was sure he was a Nazi. German, moved to Argentina about the right time, etc. My mom thought I was crazy, but she was a Jew.

I dunno, I don’t think it’s a remarkable resemblance, and I doubt he would have kept the mustache and the name “Adolf”.

when they found ‘Dolph (as he liked to be called in the New World), some one asked him if he’d do things differently “next time”. His response? “Next time, no more Mr Nice Guy!”

Hitler was 50 in 1939. If still alive, he would have been 65 in 1954. The guy in the picture who is supposed to be Hitler looks well under 60. A drug-addled psychopath who plunged the entire world into misery manages to survive the war and look young at age 65? No.
Yes, the Russians very carefully interrogated those who were in Hitler’s bunker to verify he took his own life in April, 1945.

Pic looks like someone took that old Sacco and Vanzetti photograph and airbrushed out their heads and took a new exposure using Citroen’s and Hitler’s heads.

Actually, he's in Memphis.

Tell that to the CIA. They got it from some close bodyguard of Hitler an SS guy in South America.

No.Forgo the sausage and whole milk cheeses, the heavy beer, the pork and butter, and swap in fresh veggies and cool tropical fruits. Cut those stressful speeches and instead learn true triumph of the will with daily walks and gentle swimming. Slough off 15 years and add to the 14 million pounds already lost with the Hitler survived and fled to South America (but kept his first name and signature mustache) diet! Dr. Oz raves about it and Readers' Digest gives it a stiff arm way way up!
Or just accept that the guy capped himself in 1945.

Hitler is alive and well, and living in the heads of the ADL, SPLC, and almost all democrats, and their media lapdogs.

And of course the Mossad and Wiesenthal let him live happily ever after

It says Citroen was an SS trooper. It does not say he was Hitler’s bodyguard or even that he had been assigned to Leostanarten Adolf Hitler, the Waffen SS Division.

That’s right. He would not have lived for another 10 years.

I would bet that wasn't even the guy's real name.
