Look at poor McGreevey’s father in this photo. I recall thinking at the time that the guy obviously wanted to die up there, that he probably only was up there to support his daughter-in-law.
I have no sympathy for the guy. He should have stayed home rather than standing up there making an @ss of himself on national television.
The dirty little secret in New Jersey was that everyone connected to McGreevey knew his story for years, but actively took steps to cover it up and hide it from the public. That includes family members, too.
