Word For The Day, Tuesday October 31, 2017
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
preta [prey-tuh]
-n
Hindu Mythology a wandering or disturbed ghost.
[< Sanskrit: dead]
Spoooooky
Hill’s preta, Eleanor, continues to invade her brain with praise for her genius. This is Satan spewing his lies into the mind of a willing naive. Great horror follows her every footstep.
When the fat lady sings in this ghoulish operetta
And ends Muellers scary political vendetta
Off hell stomp
Into the swamp
Howling with McCain, Pelosi and other establishment preta
Usually the fat lady sings
Which is the end of things
But Hillary just whines
For the presidency she pines
Her preta will do White House hauntings.
Caspar was a bit too friendly. Does that make him a preta?
Halloween is a time where tales of the preta-natural abound
