Last year, Megyn Kelly was doing very well for herself. Her nightly show on Fox News, The Kelly File, had briefly unseated The OReilly Factor at the top of the ratings, and she was slowly becoming more popular with both conservatives and liberals alike.
But The Guardian writes that Kelly was not happy, so she went to NBC, where she was offered an $18 million a year contract to host a morning show. The Guardian writes that NBC most likely thought Kelly had a rare crossover appeal: one part soccer mom to one part school principal.
But then her show was canceled two episodes before its finale, and the network seemed to have higher hopes for Kelly on a morning program. Megyn Kelly Today kicked off last month, with Kelly saying, Im kind of done with politics for now. The Guardian writes that it is a profound misuse of her talents, and questions why NBC thought it would be a good fit.

The Guardian writes that Kelly also does not do warmth and jubilance, like Katie Couric or Kelly Ripa.
........
The Guardian writes that Megyn Kelly Today is evidence that morning TV is not her true calling, no matter how sick and tired of politics she claims to be.

She did that years before on the Howard Stern show.
It was the presidential debate that exposed her vacuousness to the nation as a whole.
Without the late Uncle Roger Ailes the Me Again would be a nobody. She repaid him by her trashing him. I do blame him for spoiling her and elevating her to a position based on looks and appeal and just mediocre talent.
Her and Colin Kaepernick thought far more of themselves than their fans did.
Meghan Kelly is a wonderful TV host, because vagina.

No, she did us all a favor, by leaving!
.
Do you have “inside” information on this ???
.
No, sadly.

Megyn Kelly screwed up when she started inserting herself into the news instead of just reporting it.
Yes, she made a huge mistake. If she had a big strong man around to mansplain things to her, this wouldn’t have happened.
.
Nothing to be sad about!
.
“She (Kelly) doesn’t exactly ooze warmth. She’s not the kind of woman other women like and trust.”
You totally nailed my feelings right there!
.
Alex Jones took care of our Megyn Kelly problem expertly.
.
Yeah she made a mistake, just like all the previous people who were good and started out on cable and then ended up in ash heap when they did not make it. The lure of being on a network is always there, but the heyday of Network news is long gone.
Actually, Fox News made the mistake of hiring Megyn Kelly just because she was blond and reasonably good looking. Had they actually examined her belief system before hiring her, the executives at Fox News wouldn’t have touched the Toxic Tilly.
Then came Donald Trump
...and like so many similar to her, we all found out what she and many like her were thinking and saying behind our backs, (and that is why we hate them now...they made fools of us). The list is long .. Krystal, Kelly, Krauthammer, Levin ... on and on. People with opinions we respected. Then Trump happened ... and these people fell hard. It is a shame to see careers dashed for their own stupidity, but alas, welcome to the Trump era. I'm glad we are here.
“She is an over-paid, no talent, self absorbed witch! She needs to leave television all together, and give us all a break.”
In way over her head. Way too ambitious, Stabbed her benefactor and biggest promoter, Roger Ailes may he rest in peace, in the back. All in all a treacherous woman.
No. Fox News made a mistake in hiring Kelly in the first place.
” also does not do warmth and jubilance, like Katie Couric”
Ha! Almost spewed coffee all over the screen over that one!
Couric is an angry, partisan, spiteful, hateful beyotch. There’s nothing warm about her, besides her colon.
Karma is Megyn Kelly?
“Megan made an even bigger mistake thinking she was worth it.”
Her biggest mistake was attacking Donald Trump in the debate. That was the exact minute she became history.
