NDA’s and No Competes likely have him tied in knots.

Most of those non-competes have no chance of standing up in court, especially if the person gets fired. Now his lack of understanding confidentiality could really hurt him.

Subcontractor or consultant to a subcontractor ..... many loopholes to evade the best of NDA’s .......

Seems Apple’s engineering OPSEC has multiple worms at its corporate core......

Tough call. Apparently, he was in hot water just for letting her daughter take video in the campus cafeteria! Probably there are iron-clad rules in place and other engineers would be watching to see how Apple lowered the boom. Apple’s safest move was to do what they did to keep their secrets and their engineers on their toes.
But I would have reviewed the footage, weighed the risk of spilled secrets against the gain of positive PR, and dealt an administrative punishment and fine. I’m sure I’d make a poor tech manager.

How much is her grab at 15 minutes going to cost her father?
Rush discussed it today, It wasn't so much her father lost his job because of her posting a video of the new Apple 10 but rather all the hate she received from the innocent video of her shopping with her mother..........totally vile comments.
To: Fresh Wind
Not only did he allow her to make the video, he participated in the video.
But Im so glad to learn that the new iPhone has animated emojis. Thats truly breakthrough technology!Steve Wozniak is already on record as saying he's skipping the early release of the X. He says the iPhone in his pocket does just about everything the X will do and equally well. So he's waiting. If one of Apple's pioneers can say that, just how much super secret Inspector Gadgetry can be in the X?

Who would hire engineer who pays no attention to company policy by making videos inside a company facility of an unreleased product so his Valley Girl daughter can get some clicks on YouTube?
The story totally ignores the hate comments she received on her youtube video of her shopping with her mother.......that;s the REAL story.

If I were an Apple employee with all those "thou shalt nots" on my shoulders, I'm just paranoid enough to not ever let anyone visit me at their cafeteriaeven if they say I can. I'd never take Apple property off campuseven if they say I can. I'd keep anything that's supposed to be secret under wraps unless I actually needed to test iteven if my peers leave all their secret toys out on their workbench. Because my heart and luck runs the way of that dad and I wouldn't want to chance getting fired!

She is a self-centered, spoiled brat who thought of nothing and no-one but her own “scoop” and status by getting this entry in her “blog”. I have no sympathy.
And her dad who let her do this all - it’s the price you pay when you violate Apple’s policy - it is nothing new (and he’s not the first to get fired for allowing info out).

Very doubtful. Apple has a ZERO tolerance policy for such things.

Poor little snowflake, thinking that her life only exists if it’s blasted all over every “Social Media” outlet. Too bad she probably won’t learn her lesson from this incident...

I guess Apple doesn’t like anyone giving reviews except for their loyal, faithful “independent” reviewers who always gush on about how Apple’s stuff is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
