To God, all sin (breaking of any of the Commandments (and none mentioned bestiality/sodomy or a host of other ills) was the same - it was the Catholic Church that decided there are different levels of sin. The Bible only separates one sin from the rest as being especially bad - blaspheme of the Holy Spirit (and with understanding that Jesus lived under, and adhered to, the Old Covenant - causing a child "to sin").

If any of us - just one of the 7 billion or so souls on the earth - Christ would not have had to die for our sins. so may seem to forget that and believe that some of the less sinful are somehow better enough in His eyes that they are free to confer their own Judgement (vs. discernment with understanding that we are also sinners and fall short) on those they deem to be especially sinful.

You don’t believe in executing someone just for stealing when you can have the person work off the debt from the theft, or pay a fine for it, right? Some sins are more serious, because I can’t undo murder, or can’t undo a person’s incurable STD from raping the person.

The matter of whether or not I belong in heaven or hell is very different from the punishment for the crime. Let God sort who belongs where out.
