Scam by Apple.

Release super small numbers to create the illusion of demand.

Create hype for sheeple to spend $1,000 for a phone with features that others have had on the market for years now (wireless charging.)

Apple is a leftist company. They need to pay taxes on their $50 billion in cash.

Apple has been accused of that every time a new iPhone comes out. It never proves to be true. Why should it be true this time, TigerClaws?

I got on line at 12:01PM last night with AT&T to get my NEXT upgrade from my iPhone 7 plus, using my daughter's iPhone 6. . . she'll get my iPhone 7 plus. AT&T's website was JAMMED. It took me until 2:15 to get my order done. That is not a phony demand.

Typical Anti-Apple boilerplate falsehoods. First - what scam? Second - super-small numbers? Apple has done nothing different than previous releases - and each results in literally MILLIONS of units sold - as their manufacturing suppliers have been at full-tilt production. Don’t forget - the actual available/shipping date is still a week away.

Hype for a $1000 phone - just wait until the next Samsung... to keep up, their price will be in the same ballpark. And “features” that others have had for years... like the IR-based facial recognition? Or the VR engine that throws all other makers under the bus? Seriously?

And the best you posted: Apple is a leftist company... Have you actually checked Microsoft’s contributions and groups it supports? OR Bill Gates and his foundation? OR pretty much every other tech company - particularly hardware makers. But your blindness is as willfully ignorant as the Leftists this page was set up to fight against. Its a shame you are acting just like them.

“They need to pay taxes on their $50 billion in cash.”

My understanding is that it is legal and in a non-us company.

Nice.

Apple is the largest non-petroleum tax payer on the planet. They paid $13B in US taxes last year alone. And you proclaim "Apple needs to pay their taxes!" Got it.

Apple is a leftist company. They need to pay taxes on their $50 billion in cash.

You don’t even have a clue about what you are talking about, TigerClaws.

First of all, it’s $260 BILLION not $50 billion. It hasn’t been $5) billion since before Steve Jobs died.

Secondly, you are falling for the the Democrat’s talking points. Apple has already PAID US INCOME TAXES on all that money. It’s required by US and INTERNATIONAL TAX LAW. Corporate taxes of multinationals are paid in the country where they are incorporated. Apple is incorporated in California, USA. . . They pay their Income Taxes to California and the United States. In May of 2015, Apple was hauled before a US Senate investigating committee, accused of not paying income taxes by several Democratic Senators. CEO Tim Cook, under oath, testified that not only had Apple PAID its income tax, but that Apple was the LARGEST payer of US BUSINESS INCOME TAXES, paying $1 out of every $40 of business taxes collected by the IRS. . . And brought in the proof, Apple’s Business tax returns, which are public records.

The money Apple and hundreds of other corporations have cached off-shore is after tax dollars that the US’s archaic tax structure requires to be RE-TAXED if it is brought back to the US at an absurd 35% tax rate imposed by Democrat Liberals. Only one other country on earth, a land locked African Dictatorship, has such an idiotic tax policy for re-patriating already taxed earnings. Other countries allow their companies to bring back their earnings to be invested at home with out taxing them again.

Displaying ignorance is not a way to begin a discussion about which you really know nothing factual. Way to go, TigerClaws.

They need to pay taxes on their $50 billion in cash.

They already paid taxes on earnings. You want double taxation, on income already taxed and paid overseas. All corporations are in the same boat. Go after Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, etc. They also park income earned overseas to avoid double taxation. As for politics, Apple is not leftist and does not contribute to leftist causes although some employees might; Microsoft directly contributes to leftist causes. Go after Microsoft, why don't you.
