The Grift that keeps on grifting................
Just read it. I think you are both right. The author put together an informative review with some very nicely phrased language overall. Point for bd45.
Miss Marmelstein, for me, what started out as a delightful read mired down about halfway through. The writer doesn’t appreciate the value of changing up the sentence structure. A few of these long, cleverly worded sentences go a long way. The piece needed short, trenchant sentences to punch up the flow. Any style grates after a while. Or to use the old aphorism, variety is the spice of life.
I’m glad I read it. The writer did convey a vivid sense of what these Hillary talks are like. Including the [weirdly bizarre] bits about Igor and pizzagate provided exactly the right amount and flavor of detail. The style could have been improved in places, but the content got the job nicely done.
